When there is difficulty getting persons with dementia out of their house to see their health care provider, mobile or virtual appointments may be a solution. When the patient with dementia refuses to leave their home or their caregiver is unable to provide transportation, these visits may be essential. Because of the pandemic, many traditional office-based practices offer at least a limited amount of virtual visits, especially for established patients.
